Hi! This is the
truckWeb's truck with custom sleeper section. I help people own these big ride
trucks.
Custom sleeper trucks can offer a working home on
wheels. They seem to work particularly well for couples with highway
experience but many single operator truck owners have done well, too!
Custom Sleeper trucks
often contain a motel room,
self serve restaurant and sometimes even a home school .
And, once... a nursing home.
If you are not too weight
sensitive, wheel-base is not an impossible concern, you have good credit and a sufficient
pile
of cash or equity in your existing truck, the custom sleeper truck can save you more than
you spend and make your life oh so much easier.
Check to the right to get ideas about a custom
sleeper that may be right for you. Mostly these are trucks with custom sleepers I
have sold and delivered in the past... but a few may be available right
now!
Or, we can simply put our heads together and design the perfect custom
sleeper truck for you!

Sorry,
after more than 20 years providing custom sleeper trucks, the bulk of the
trucks you will see on this page are out working. But, they are simular to what is
on my lot now - a small sampling of the New and USED STOCK custom sleeper trucks that have
passed through our lot. Inventory changes faster than is listed, or something likely to be
hot may be coming in but not published on the web. If you are looking for a
truck something like what you see here ...Call Me! I might not have it just now, but
I can put you on my Custom Sleeper List. I will Email a note to all who are on the
list as these trucks become available.
Ken at TrueCustom... uses another approach, he
extends and modifies factory sleepers
I have worked out a deal with Ken where I believe I
can have Ken pick up your new truck at the KW factory, mount your TrueCustom sleeper -
then have the KW factory drop ship the truck to the location.
We mostly sell modular type, add on sleepers and We
stock normally stock Kenworth W900's and T600's. with ARI's popular Legacy II
line.
holds the stocking slot for our big guys the
last couple of years. But, we also use and have good relationships with Indiana
Custom, Double Eagle and Bentz as large custom sleeper suppliers.
Quality is important, its' got to hold together
and do the job too. Resale value is a good thing...
I can't honestly say that any of the above
custom sleepers have been a problem to sell used. We all have our favorites
and... There have been some issues for sure, but nothing serious enough to ban one
company or another.
For the across the back bed designs I've
been using ICT and AA. For the bed along the side sleepers it's
ARI.
Below is the sink wall of a large(if i remember
right it's a 144") ARI Legacy Sleeper with oak cabinet doors.
ARI Legacy, AA Sleeper, Double Eagle, and ICT
as modular sleeper builders. True Custom as a factory sleeper - stretch
modifier and Bentz as both. Each of these companies does things a little
differently and do not have identically matching capabilities or
flexibilities.
I try to match my prospective client to the one
or two of the above companies that looks best to match their needs.
AA, ARI & ICT build modular sleepers
(96"-160" or so) from scratch, their sleepers are typically placed behind a day
cab tractor or occasionally behind a factory sleeper such as Kenworth's 38" AeroCab.
ASI Customs has developed a space saving side door custom sleeper design that
has all the necessary pieces...
TrueCustom specializes in modifying factory sleepers,
specifically the larger KW AeroCab's into 120"-150" custom designs.
From the outside one sees a KW factory look. Inside is what you see above.
In my experience, some of these companies choose the
slightly more expensive component when they might be able to get by with the less or add a
feature where a competitor might leave a void. That is the competition I hope to see
with all my vendors. The resulting increased reliability and customer satisfaction
quickly gives a payback in restful nights and you smiling for your customers, tomorrow.

the Custom
Sleepers below might get you to thinking though. Sometimes
I deliver my first truck or type of truck to a customer 5 or more years after we first
talked about it. Planning and positioning is often necessary to financially justify
one of these high investment units... Yet, played right, the successful buyer
owners can have more freedom - financially than ever before.
