• China needs diesel fuel just as much as America does, tomorrow they will need more.  In fact, China will aggressively compete for all raw materials as they bring a population greater than three times the size of the USA's into the modern era from a peasant / agrarian population. 
• New truck prices will go up again in 2006
• The "cleaner" the diesel exhaust the worse the fuel mileage.
• If diesel fuel is your largest expense and you are not positioned to get a fuel surcharge or some sort of fuel contingent rate factor... now is not the time to be in the business you are in. 
• individual expertise in smaller, specialized markets pays dividends

• Low mileage used trucks are a thing of the past
• All types of used trailers are in short supply
• New truck manufactures lead times for custom built units are 6 months or more away but your dealer may own earlier build slots.
• Still, trucks with big hoods bring the most resale value and are what drivers like to drive.
